About Derek Posniak Optometry:

Derek Posniak is a consulting and dispensing optometrist in Turramurra Sydney North Shore.

Derek qualified in South Africa in 1982, having completed a masters degree (2001) and ocular therapeutics certificate (2008) at the University of New South Wales.

Derek’s interests lie in all aspects of optometry, which include pediatric, pathology, orthoptics, low vision and contact lenses (which includes hard contact lenses).

Derek enjoys taking a multidisciplinary approach when working with GPs and Ophthalmologists, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists.
